Merchants who accept visitor feedback now have two more feedback settings that can be manipulated to suit the website's needs.

Merchants can now opt whether to make the first name and country fields optional or mandatory. The default setting is for them to both be optional. These settings can be changed independently of each other.

If a field is optional, the user may still input the corresponding details, but are not required to do so. Some merchants choose to keep more fields optional to encourage visitors to submit feedback, while other merchants prefer to see more information regarding feedback submitters.

To toggle the optional fields on and off, simply log into the merchant account area, click on 'Edit Details' next to your website name, and use the corresponding form fields in the 'Website Feedback Options' area.

Implementation instructions to display a SiteTrust Network trust seal and a feedback feed on a CS-Cart version 2.0+ store are now available.

These instructions don't require any file uploads or modifications to the store's source code. The SiteTrust Network features are installed using the CS-Cart administration panel.

The direct feedback feed iframe service now supports SSL for those who wish to display feedback on a secure page. The code generator provides an option to display the feed over http or https, and the feedback display page has been adjusted to accommodate both forms.
